Departure from Rome at 08:00 for Volterra, Tuscany historic town famous for the extraction and processing of alabaster. Located in the heart of Tuscany and perched on top of a high hill in an extraordinary panoramic position between the valleys of Cecina and Era.

We will visit the old town completely surrounded by medieval buildings, including the Palazzo dei Priori, Praetorian Palace and the Tower of the Pig, so named because of the boar made of stone Volterra that protrudes above the last window of the tower. After you visit the Bishop's Palace and the Duomo, the Baptistry and the historical museum of alabaster, located inside the tower Minucci medieval.

We move then to San Gimignano, a medieval village located north of Siena. You can admire several sites of great artistic interest. Since the city is listed as a World Heritage Site. We will visit Piazza della Cisterna and then continue to the Old Palace of the Podesta who Raise right across from the Duomo. The cathedral square is still the heart of San Gimignano. Other monuments include the Torre Grossa, the Town Hall and the Twin Towers.
